Amba was born out of the conviction that fashion can be more than fleeting trends. Founded by Mateo Arambasic, the journey began in 2019 with the brand "Bagra." Despite many challenges, the vision remained: to create fashion that is not only high-quality, but also timeless, sustainable, and meaningful. After a rebranding, "Bagra" ultimately became Amba, a brand that stands for authenticity, quality, and conscious elegance.
Fashion is much more than clothing. It's an expression of our identity, a reflection of our personality. At Amba, we believe that true fashion means staying true to yourself and feeling comfortable in what you wear #StayTrueToYourself
Sustainable production and responsibility
Our fashion is created with the utmost care, under fair conditions, and from sustainable materials. In collaboration with Pura Alternativa Barcelos, a renowned textile company in Portugal, we ensure that every garment is crafted with precision and respect.
Why Portugal? Portugal has a long tradition of textile manufacturing. Our collection is manufactured here in family-run factories with perfect craftsmanship, fair working conditions, and environmentally friendly materials. By producing in Europe, we minimize our carbon footprint and guarantee the highest quality standards.
Transparency and personal exchange. For us, sustainability means not only choosing the right materials, but also staying close to our partners. Our founder regularly travels to Porto to personally engage with producers, observe their work processes, and ensure that our values are embedded in every fiber of our production.
